News that Alibaba China will launch a new product – “China TrustPass for Individuals” has left many a bit puzzled.
How can it be helpful to Chinese suppliers? An official announcement from CEO of Alibaba.com David Wei gave us some ideas. Mr Wei said individual TrustPass members would be able to use the product at a cost of RMB2,300 per year. Corporate clients currently pay RMB2,800 for the service.
Eligible individual members of China TrustPass, however should
- Pass a third-party authenication by providing bank information and identity card
- Suject to Alibaba China online trust rating system
